You might be interested that we did band 3 American Robins this year, one of them yesterday. Who knows? Maybe they will show up in MN.

As for the Robins. I think they got "cold feet" and returned! I saw many, many Robins today. In truth. It is very possible that as it got extremely cold here in the North part of the state they may have well moved a little south for a couple of weeks. I noticed that I have a few more Chipping Sparrows after being absent for almost a week. But, most birds are getting their breeding plumage, singing voices and courting behaviors back so I think spring really is just about here in FL. (Although it is raining like crazy tonight).
