Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 02/26/2003

Number: 1

Barn Swallow sighted at our house during an ice storm - it was 25 degrees. Seemingly, he was trying to find spiders on the rock walls and under the eaves. He was plucking things out of webs. He never landed or perched. His feathers were very worn and ragged.
