We have a cherry tree with feeder in back yard which supports cardinals, juncos, chickadees, squirrels, sparrows, house finches, occasional jays and grackles.( last year nuthatches - none this). Just finished a week of bitter cold and still have heavy snow cover on the ground. I was watching some grackles on the suet and looked up at the top of tree. Head on robin! Who knows what he'll find to eat. We've had about three days of cold high pressure and sun. Todays temp is just below freezing.
