Several of the children had reported seeing Robins in their neighborhoods but today was the first time I saw one around the school. As I was walking out the door, a robin flew out of a holly bush where it had been feeding on the berries. It has been very cold here and we have about 18" of snow with a hard crust on the top. More cold weather is predicted. We hope the Robins can "weather" it out.
