Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/01/2003

Number: 1

I was visiting the Town of Wawa on the weekend (2.5 hours drive north of Sault Ste. Marie) and observed 2 Robin feeding on Mountain-ash berries along a sheltered sidestreet. Daytime high temperature was -4 Celcius. The following day the temperature dropped to -20 Celcius (daytime high). Still 4 to 5 feet of snow in the bush. Only realistic food for Robins here is berries and fruit.
