Our class checked out our flower garden today and we saw that the tulips were starting to emerge. Out of 23 bulbs, we saw about 6 shoots. We checked last Wednesday, but it was snowy and cold - no sign of tulips. This week has started out much warmer, with a day of warm sunshine yesterday. Many more tulips should emerge. Some tulips that students planted at home are coming up also, especially those planted in high places. We'll be looking for earthworms next.
