Milkweed (Asclepias oenotheroides) is up in Maverick County, Texas, on the Rio Grande border with Mexico. This is due to generous rains in October and November. There were no plants visible on February 19th, but by February 27th they were 3" high. The pasture I monitor for MLMP (U of Minnesota) was also showing milkweed. We're located at 28.52N, 100.32W.
