I have had monarchs all through December. In the middle January we had a hard freeze,I cut my milkweed in order to have food to feed the caterpillars. We had over 50 butterflies emerge in Jan & Feb. What has amazed me is constantly finding caterpillars in such different stages of development. My milkweed is coming back strong, and there are a few stray catterpillars left. I can't wait to see the Mexico butterfiles come through.
