Another sign of spring! An early migrant. Hope it survives. I believe these birds eat insects.

An Eastern Meadowlark was observed ~5 km west of the Hwy 7 -15 interchange at Carlton Place along Hwy 7 @ ~1430h on February 28th and again at ~1045h on March 3rd.

Last night, we got 10 cm more of snow, and it is still snowing.
