On Wednesday, March 5th, 2003 we checked our tulips. We did not see tulips. We saw the brown soil, mud and dirt. The snow is finally gone.The ground was very wet from the rain and melted snow.
BUT here is one sign of spring:
theforsythia bloomed in the courtyard at our school.
