I was so excited to see a Robin on 2-16-03. This was late as last year it was 2-6. I was concerned they were just getting to be less also. They are not one of my favorite birds, but I get excited about all my bird friends. Being from Wisconsin originally, I feel a loyalty to that state bird so always watch for them. The same day I sighted three bluebirds and that was so exciting as I felt that was early, until I read in one of my books that they are not going far south anymore due to people feeding plus warmer winters further north now.
