First Turkey Vultures of the year, 3 commom grackles, large flocks of Canada Geese, Bluebird pair checking out the nesting box, bulbs finally beginning to show some "noses" peaking thru the frozen snow. Much of the snow has melted and a robin was singing. There were many other birds singing their spring songs--cardinal, tufted titmice,bc chickadee, eastern bluebirds, song sparrows, juncos, house finches,and goldfinches. This was the first day of 50+ degrees in months and things were feeling warmer and thawed out.
