It was approximately 6:15 pm. It had just gotten dark outside. My children and I walked past a tree with 30 or so baby robins in it. They were flying back and forth between 2 trees. It was a beautiful sight. Is it early in the year though to be seeing babies out of the nest? I would also like to mention that I have lived in the same area of Vancouver, Thrush Place in fact, for nearly 10 years now. This was the first year that I have seen the multitude of robins numbering 50-60 per flock. Growing up I recall seeing robins but normally they were either alone or in small flocks. Times they are a changing.
