We are homeschooling my Great Grandaughter and since we live out in the country we have the opportunity to see much farther around us. This was all farmland until a few years ago so there are only scattered patches of trees. I am trying to grow windbreaks on both sides of our property to also attract more songbirds. I live in southeast Warrick County.
I would like to participate in the program for my own benefit. I can sit at my kitchen table and watch the birds that visit my feeders. I saw the first robins on March 8,2003. There were 2 of them. Also the plovers are coming in. People around here also call them killdeer. I believe they are the same.
