2/21/03 - Heard first male N. Cardinal territorial call.
3/6/03 - First Killdeer returned (much to their dismay with 8 inches of snow on the ground).
3/14/03 - Saw first male Red-wing Blackbirds between Janesville and Whitewater - many, many of them!
Snow has melted thanks to almost 60 degree weather.
