Our first red emporer tulips planted last fall edmerged this week. That is a week later than last year's bulbs which emerged 3/11. While our new site received more sunlight, we had a late snow and a huge pile of snow remained on our plot. Grounds people have now added mulch over this plot, hopefully we can carefully dig out where the tulips were!
