We are sorry to report that our tulip garden did not survive. Someone removed the chicken wire that was protecting the bulbs from squirrels, and the squirrels ate every bulb. Yum, yum!! Others that we planted have emerged, but are not part of the study because they are too close to our building. (We planted extras as a school beautification project.) We're not sure if we will participate in the tulip project next year because of the problem with vandalism.
