Red winged blackbirds have been present in fair quantity (100-200 birds, I guess) in Hendrie Valley, Burlington for at least a few days, but the first one we've seen outside the marsh was today at our feeder. Last year the big mob came on St.Patrick's day (March 17), so we're bracing for the onslaught of roving packs of 300-400 Red-winged hooligans.
