Our third grade class has been measuring the height of our tulip plants very regularly. When we left for Spring Break on March 14th, most of them were 12-14 inches tall, but none had bloomed yet. Of course, they did not wait on us to come back to school. The tulips bloomed while we were gone on Wednesday, March 19th. We came back to school today to find all but 2 of them are completely opened up. Even though we didn't see the first stages of the blooming, they are very beautiful now and everyone coming into the school can enjoy them.
