My brother and I headed down to Long Point to see what the
conditiongs are like there. It really seemed like spring, except for the frozen lake! Well, we did find a few birds:
Red-winged Blackbirds and Common Grackles were everywhere and a fair number of Killdeers were also well distributed (at least 20), the inner bay and lake are frozen so no waterfowl except for a large flock of at least a couple thousand Tundra Swans in a field just west of Port Royal.
