Our class was checking on the status of La Courtine tulip bulbs that we planted last fall. Many are just beginning to sprout. We saw many that were about 1 to 2" above the ground's surface. Around one tree, however, all the leaves of the bulbs that sprouted there were at least 4" above the surface.
