Hooray! What a sight for weary winter eyes. With snow still on the ground and the weather again turning colder. I believe this sighting is much earlier than last year for us here in the Northwoods. Robins are so welcomed for us because our winters are so long. They are a sign of hope and better things coming. I only sighted one in my backyard so far. He was hunting for food in the areas not covered with snow.
