Our tulips emerged despite cold weather - about 31 GDD. We are wondering why our tulips from last year planted in the same bed emerged a least a week earlier ( we don't know exactly when). They are growing only a few feet from this year's, at the same depth, same variety, same soil, sunlight, slope, etc.
