I saw a Varied thrush on March 13 here in Stirling. It was
on the lawn of a neighbour's amidst the melting snow. Varied thrushes are not a species we have here on the plains ... their normal habitat is to the west in the mountains and foothills. But like their cousins, the robins, they'll be returning from the south too.(A Northern Observation Post)
