Ice-Out

Date: 03/26/2003

Number: 1

Our past several winters have been rather mild and there have been some where the lake did not really freeze well. This was an excellent winter for the ice fishermen and ice boats. We had thick ice that lasted from the beginning of winter until just now. Budd Lake is the largest natural lake in New Jersey, and many of my students live very close to it or see it on a regular basis.
