After an extremely dry winter, we were worried that anything would ever emerge, but the first tulip was seen poking through the dry desrt-like soil this week!! After a few welcome early spring rains and snow to break the drought, we are confident that the others will emerge and bloom and make our Peace Garden where they are planted a place of beauty as well as a place of learning.
