While cleaning one of my flower beds a counted 5 monarch caterpilars/larves less than an inch long on my butterfly weed/milkweed. The plant has yet to bloom but has buds. I'm sure there's more than 5 judging by the amount of leaves that have been eaten & I've been out of town for the past week.
