Although the tulip bulbs we planted along the south side of our school emerged over a month ago, we are pleased to announce that the tulips in our other 2 gardens (planted 5 blocks away and on a farm 15 miles away) are now peeking out of the ground!
The tulips that emerged next to our school a month ago have been kept warm during the below freezing nights by having an upside down ice cream pail put over them. They're huge, green and very healthy!
