1st BARN SWALLOW sighting reported by anyone in the Ottawa area - a single bird on 29 March 2003, flying with Tree Swallows over a flooded farm field near Carlsbad Springs, east of Ottawa. Multiple observers, including myself. Also 100's of Canada Geese, Northerb Pintails & other migrant waterfowl in this location.
