Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/30/2003

Number: 1

I saw my first Monarch this morning. I only saw one during about a 30 minute walk but will look again later in the day when it warms up. I am located two miles west of downtown Belton, Texas on three hundred acres of land reserved for wildlife (our private land).
(Lat N31 degrees 03 minutes, Lon W97 degrees 29 minutes)

I have not been out as much as usual due to weather and other obligations so they might have been passing through for a couple of days. I have not checked my milkweed hotspots...
