Adult robin is feeding at a hanging suet feeder. The feeder is made from coated wire mesh and it contains a large block of peanut butter suet. This is the only robin that is feeding from this particular feeder. The feeder is hanging off of a wooden deck. This robin lands on the top of the feeder and feeds from the sides of the it. It appears to also enjoy just sitting on top of it like a bird on a swing. It took this robin a while to figure out how to get food from the feeder. At first it could not land on it correctly. We noticed that it apeared to observe the other birds that frequent the feeder.
