While working at the Oxley Nature Center on Sunday the 30th, one of our Butterfly spotters called to report that he, Jim Thayer, had seen a Monarch in south east Tulsa, around highway 169 and 61st street.

That is the first one of the season. Jim is an experienced spotter and trustworthy. I believe they may be a little early this year.
