Looks like the Monarchs are here in numbers. I monitor 3 fields in different locations and spotted males and females on each site. They were feeding on abundant wild flowers and mating.
The A.viridis is only 2 1/2 inches high. We have had warm tempts
but high winds. Most of the monitoring sites are protected by heavy trees. I have seen none on the roadways or open fields.
