Three eagles sighted 1 mile west of ST. Agathe, Manitoba on the Red River.
One mature bird and two immature. The adult landed in a tree, in my brother-in-law's back yard. It had caught a channel catfish.
It perched in the tree for at least 20 minutes and devoured the fish. The two young were playing tag in the air just above the perched bird. We were able to video-tape the event. The three birds were seen again the following day.
