It was about 12:30 noon hot and sunny while I was getting out of car to unload groceries when I noticed a monarch slowly flying in my yard. I didn't catch it ,but I do catch butterflies ,and it was unmistakable. Didn't have a chance to see if it was a female or male. I had also been noticing dogface butterflies which I did catch some , and the dogface is also know to migrate north. I actually seen two dogface on 03/24/03 also. It's actually cold here now , but we have had two really nice warm spells early this spring.
