I have seen some milkweed up about 3 or 4 inches. However, we had a freeze last night (32) so I do not know if the milkweed was hurt or not. Also, it has been extra cold here this week (temp in the 40s for highs) but warming up today and all the
next week. That was not a hard freeze for us (frost on the roof tops) so maybe the milkweed is not hurt. We are in
the process of planting a wildflower/wildlife habitat on the trail now. I plan to have a sections planted just for Monarchs.
