The third grade students were taking a walk to the greenhouse on March 25. We stopped to check the tulips we had planted in the fall. They were buried under a blanket of straw. We gently pulled the straw away and.....Robbie spotted the first green leaf to push through the soil! As we looked at the others, they were popping out too!! We are watching all the 150 tulips that the third graders at McKnight planted in October. We will let you know when the first one blooms. Mrs. Ferguson and the tulip watchers in 3B.
