I continue to see more Monarchs each day. The A. viridis is about 4" tall but we have had freezing weather for three nights.
In the 3 fields that I monitor I see the milkweed emerging but laying down close to the ground. I assume that is because of our cold weather. I have seen Monarchs mating, and nectaring but now eggs. The next few days will be in the 70's so I hope to see some oviposting. Strange spring...
