The tulips were very tall and very red. They were planted in my neighbors garden. I had not noticed them until that day. It was almost like they appeared overnight. There were some pink ones mixed in with the red ones. I went to St. Louis in the afternoon and I noticed that there were a lot of yellow tulips. I did not see any red tulips. I like the red ones best.
