After several days with high temperatures only in the 50's, during which no monarchs were sighted, we have a nice day and monarchs are active again at the Choctaw Trails site in southwest Jackson. Two females were seen ovipositing on Asclepias viridis during a 15 minute observation period and a few fresh eggs were also found.
