It was 6:13 PM CDT and a hummer buzzed past me while I was outside working on my greenhouse. I sighted something on Monday the 7th that I feel was a hummer,but wasn't close enough to cofirm that one.We have some very big bumblebees here,and they have been very active the past couple of weeks,so I didn't want to jump the gun. Today's sighting was positive,I saw the red throat of a male.He buzzed by,and headed across the field toward my apple trees.
