Today, I stopped east of Cobourg, Ontario at Shelter Valley Creek, and was pleased to see very large salmon and trout from Lake Ontario making their way up the creek to spawn. This is probably true for many creeks that run south into Lake Ontario. Today they seemed to be taking their time just floating in one spot, waiting for food to come along. These are BIG fish!
