Tulips EMERGED

Date: 04/14/2003

Number: 1

Today our class went outside to check on our tulips. We were surprised to find that most of the tulips were about 2-4 inches above ground. This was especially shocking because last Monday we had a lot of snow. One tulip was more than twice the size of all the others. It looks like it will be blooming any day now! The tulip that is about to bloom is one of our experimental tulips, so it was probably planted upside down or sideways.
