At 6:45 AM a Ruby-throated hummingbird flew in a northerly direction, 3 inches inches over my head. It may have been attracted by the colorful shirt that I was wearing. The temperature was already at 68F due to unseasonably warm weather in our area.
There are no flowers blooming here yet, so I promptly filled my hummingbird feeders in hope of helping this early arrival.
