Late afternoon around 5:30-6 pm 4 adult monarchs were observed in oviposition activity at Choctaw Trails in southwest Jackson. No egg counts were taken but numerous fresh eggs were present. Larvae continue to be quite rare although a few are noted during each observation and leaf damage is common.
