can loons build igloos? as the temperature plummeted from 90 degrees on monday to 30 degrees on wednesday, and the wind was blowing the sleet and ice pellets close to verical, a solitary loon was spotted bobbing on the mississippi as the shoreline was turning white from the accumulation from the storm. it didn't seem to mind the weather, but may have been pondering how it was going to stack up those ice blocks.
