On Thursday, April 3rd, students came running to report that tulips were blooming!!! However, most of the tulips blooming were from tulip beds previously planted. We watched the tulip beds, and then on Monday, April 7, we had a good representation of tulips blooming in our own garden! Tulips were beautiful this year, vibrant with color. Once all of the beds were blooming we had a beautiful splash of color to enjoy. The moisture came not so much from winter snows, but from real long rains, that came intermittenly across the spring season. The moisture made such a difference in the beauty of the tulips. It's been a good year for plants this spring in Council, Idaho.
