My husband said he had seen 1 male on the 12th but try as I might I never saw any until the 18th. I put a few feeders up around the 8th. I have about 3 males and 1 female here. My flowering quince in the front yard did not have as many flowers this year so that could be why I have so few this year. By now I usually have 20-30. Last year the goldfinches and hummingbirds overlapped but this year the goldfinches had left almost a week before the hummers showed up.
