I spotted a monarch on campus yesterday on my way out to the car. I couldn't get close enough to look for a tag or to determine sex, but the individual was extremely faded and the wings were tattered. I would guess that it was an individual that made the journey north from Mexico. I'm looking forward to seeing more in town!
