the milkweed has now emerged in my yard (I live at about
2500 ft, and we had two spring snows here, one on 3/31 and the other on
4/10) in Bakersville NC about a week ago. It's about 6 inches high
now--at least the syriaca that's furthest along. Tuberosa is just coming
up. Haven't seen any monarchs yet, though I'd love to.
